— NTCA–The Rural Broadband Association released the following statement from CEO Shirley Bloomfield on the departure of Commissioner Geoffrey Starks from the FCC:
“Commissioner Starks has always shown a keen interest in ensuring that every American, regardless of who they are or where they live, can benefit from robust and reliable connectivity. He was also an early and active voice in highlighting the risks posed by foreign actors to U.S. communications networks and in urging the creation and implementation of programs to make networks more secure. NTCA and its members thank Commissioner Starks for his work at the FCC on these and many other matters, and we wish him the best as he embarks on new endeavors.”
