Adam Schwartz is the founder and principal of The Cooperative Way, and a member owner of the CDS Consulting Cooperative a consulting firm dedicated to assisting all types of cooperative businesses succeed. He provides strategic guidance to the boards, employees, and members of organizations seeking to utilize cooperative principles and values as a primary force in serving their members and the community. He is an adjunct professor at the University of Mary Washington- College of Business in Fredericksburg, VA, teaching about the cooperative business model.
Previously, Adam served as vice president for public affairs and member services for the National Cooperative Business Association. He also was vice president of external affairs for the National Rural Telecommunications Cooperative and a senior lobbyist with the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association.
