April Irwin, CAE, IOM, serves as vice president of member engagement for NTCA–The Rural Broadband Association, where she leads the association's member engagement strategies, overseeing programs that strengthen member value and support organizational growth. She oversees membership, meetings and education, marketing, sponsorship and advertising, guiding a division responsible for developing programs, partnerships and experiences that help members succeed and advance the association's mission.

Since joining NTCA in 2010, April has helped shape initiatives that strengthen member engagement, expand industry partnerships and create new opportunities for growth. Her work has included launching innovative member programs, expanding sponsorship and non-dues revenue, developing new member resources and leading cross-functional initiatives that align strategy with execution across the organization.

Before joining NTCA, April held leadership positions in fundraising, membership and development with Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater and the Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts. She is a native of Bowling Green, Kentucky, and resides in the Washington, D.C., area.
