Barry Adair

Northeast Region Cooperative Director, NTCA Board of Directors

Barry Adair currently serves as the Northeast Region cooperative director on the NTCA Board of Directors and secretary-treasurer of the board. He has also served as advisory council chairman for the Illinois Telephone Cooperative Association and is actively involved with the Illinois Telecommunications Association and the Illinois Independent Telephone Association. Barry worked for 10 years at West Kentucky Rural Telephone as the accountant/accounting manager and four years with BEK in North Dakota as the CFO/financial manager. In June of 2014, Barry started his career at Wabash Communications CO-OP as the assistant general manager. Beginning December 2015, Barry assumed the position of general manager/executive vice president. Barry is skilled in many areas including accounting, commercial, outside plant and management. He earned a degree at Murray State University in accounting/computer information systems, and his MBA in business from William Woods University.

Barry and his wife Kim have four children: Barrett, Chance, Morgan, Brodie, and four grandchildren. Barry enjoys golf, high school basketball refereeing and being involved in community/civic organizations. You can find Barry staying actively involved with the North Clay School Board, Louisville Rotary, Little League Baseball Coach, and founder/coach of North Clay Little Dribblers and a member of the North Clay Sports Boosters.
