Ben Foster is President & CEO of both ISG Technology and Twin Valley Telephone, Inc., a fourth-generation family-owned company, and the Central Region Commercial director on the NTCA Board of Directors. His interest in telecommunications began early, as he worked summers and school breaks as an installation & repair technician in his high school and college years. Following his graduation from Kansas State University, he started his career with Southwestern Bell, where he held a variety of positions ranging from Installation & Repair Manager to the Chief-of-Staff for the President of Consumer Operations. In 2004, he took his experience back to the family business and joined Twin Valley fulltime. He has served as Director, Vice President and COO for the company. He led the company through investments and acquisitions, resulting in the company tripling in size from 2005-2010. In 2011, Ben was appointed President & CEO of Twin Valley. He led the acquisition of ISG Technology the same year, transforming a regional IT reseller to a world-class Managed IT Services partner with nationwide reach. Most recently, Ben led the acquisition of Southern Kansas Telephone, joining the two largest family-owned telecommunications companies in Kansas.
Ben has also served on a number of industry advocacy boards for OPASTCO, the Kansas Telecommunications Industry Association, and the Communications Coalition of Kansas. He currently serves on Kansas Fiber Network’s board and is a past Chairman.
Ben is married to Beth Foster, DVM, and has three children, Jack, Finley, and Quinn.
