Justin Faulb serves as NTCA senior vice president of policy and general counsel, overseeing the association’s government affairs, regulatory initiatives, and internal legal affairs. Faulb joins NTCA from the FCC, where he served in several senior legal and policy leadership roles, including significant work on the agency’s broadband and national security agendas. Faulb served previously as chief of staff and legal advisor for wireline and national security to Commissioner Geoffrey Starks, as well as associate bureau chief of the Wireline Competition Bureau, where he helped to spearhead the implementation of the Secure and Trusted Communications Networks Act, overseeing the $4.98 billion “rip-and-replace” program. Faulb’s extensive regulatory experience also includes serving as the designated federal officer of the Broadband Deployment Advisory Committee and as Special Counsel to former FCC Chairman Ajit Pai. Before entering public service, he practiced communications and energy law in the private sector and for a leading trade association.
