Melanie Jore became the vice president of member relations in 2020. In this role, she focuses on NTCA strategic initiatives and supports her MRM team. She joined NTCA in 2011 as a member relations manager, where she was responsible for members in Iowa and Wisconsin, and later added Minnesota to her territory.
Prior to NTCA, Melanie worked at a rural Minnesota telephone cooperative as the human resources manager, customer service manager and director of business operations. Before moving to Minnesota, she was the director of human resources at a statewide health care organization in Iowa.
Melanie graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a B.S. in business administration with a human resources and management emphasis. She also earned her supervisory management certification from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and the senior professional in human resources certification from the Society for Human Resources Management.
