Michelle Ly is the director of the political action committee, directs grassroots initiatives, serves as staff liaison for the tribal affairs committee and represents the rural telecommunications industry on Capitol Hill. With more than 15 years of experience in the the government affairs field, Michelle's experience also includes working for the Wolf Trap Foundation, a performing arts organization in Vienna, VA, where she lobbied for funding for the organization’s education programs at the federal, state and county levels.

A native of Salt Lake City, Utah, Michelle began her career in politics working for Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) in his Salt Lake and Washington, D.C. offices. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Weber State University and an MBA from The George Washington University where she was a three-time recipient of the Bryce Harlow Fellowship and a member of Beta Gamma Sigma International Honor Society.
