Scott Lively

Technical Assistance Advisor, U.S. Department of Commerce, NTIA

Scott Lively joined the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) in June 2022 as a technical assistance advisor with NTIA's Office of Internet Connectivity and Growth. As a technical assistance advisor, Scott works with NTIA’s federal program officers to help stakeholders understand and successfully leverage NTIA’s broadband programs to further broadband network deployment and promote digital equity. He also helps develop program policies. Before joining NTIA, Scott was with NTCA–The Rural Broadband Association for eleven years where he was the senior director of government affairs and grassroots advocacy. Prior to NTCA, he spent five years as a legislative director and counsel in the U.S. House of Representatives. Scott holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance from Texas A&M University and a Juris Doctor from Georgetown Law.
