Scott Soden is a founding member of Alpina Capital, a financial services firm that specializes in transactions to support growth and business initiatives for the telecommunications industry. Alpina Capital is regarded as the ranking Investment Bank in the secondary market of the spectrum industry. He and the Alpina team have assisted telecommunications companies raise capital, restructure debt, monetize non-core assets, and sell ILEC and wireless operations, in addition to infrastructure transactions.
Scott has more than 25 years of financial and transaction experience in the telecommunications and media industries. His skilled representation has led to the completion of over 200 transactions with an aggregate value of more than $3 billion.
He has a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Denver (1989) and is a 1983 graduate of Colorado State University (B.S./B.A., accounting). He holds his Series 7, 63, 24, and 79 licenses. Scott qualified and competed in the 1988 Summer Olympic cycling trials.
