GRM Networks is looking for a dedicated, detail-oriented Assistant Controller to join our team. Duties required of this position are varied, including, but not limited to: assisting the Controller in managing all accounting and financial operations for the Corporation; helping manage and direct the activities of the department of 11 employees; understanding, applying, and analyzing the effects of regulatory changes in the industry; assisting with the preparation of annual budgets and financial statements; and other duties as assigned.
The Assistant Controller must have knowledge of or be able to learn the telecommunications industry and regulatory requirements, as well as management, financial and telecom accounting theory and practices. The position also requires knowledge of auditing, cash management, and budgeting; skill in communications and making presentations; skill in reading and understanding technical documents; and the ability to demonstrate leadership and management skills to create and maintain a team environment. Residency in GRM’s service territory is preferred.
