Job Description

WTC, Inc. is looking for a Computer Programmer/Website Developer to join our team in the Wamego, Kansas area. The Computer Programmer/Website Developer will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and maintaining applications software and programs; develops websites and authors web documents; assists in setting up and monitoring computer operations; troubleshoots software and hardware problems related to internet applications. Candidate must display a positive attitude while projecting a personable, professional, friendly image at all times.

WTC was one of the first in the state of Kansas to provide fiber to the premise to its customers, and has been a provider of telecommunications services to the Wamego area since 1912. We currently serve the Wamego, Paxico, St. George, and St. Marys areas with voice, internet and video services, as well as edge-out wireless internet to the surrounding areas.
Applicant must be a self-starter. Excellent oral and written communication and problem-solving skills required, as well as the ability to organize and prioritize workload. High school diploma or GED required, Associates degree and/or technical school in computer science or computer related field involving server, hardware and software installation and support and/or two (2) years equivalent work experience with LAN/Wan, Cisco Routers, TCP/IP, Switches, Network Connectivity, Messaging, and Network Architecture preferred. Experience with PHP and Java Script also preferred.
Must have a valid driver's license, be insurable and reside in the Wamego, KS area.
