A partnership between TruVista (Chester, S.C.) and a local school district is changing the playbook for rural educators in South Carolina.
The company is providing high-speed broadband service for a new residential community geared specifically toward teachers, designed to help them live closer to their schools and featuring cutting-edge technology to enhance their classroom capabilities.
TruVista will equip the community’s Technology Center with Wi-Fi and multi-gigabit internet speeds, and teachers will have access to technology that will allow them to share screens and host online meetings, including a digital whiteboard.
“TruVista is committed to supporting the communities we serve, and investing in education is one of the most impactful ways we can make a difference,” said CEO Carla French. “The Technology Center at The Village in Winnsboro will provide invaluable resources to our educators, fostering an environment where they can thrive both personally and professionally. We are honored to be a part of this pioneering initiative.”
The first phase of the community will open this fall.
