(May 13) The Communications Sector Coordinating Council (CSCC), of which NTCA is a member, filed comments with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) emphasizing the importance of communications providers’ ability to collaborate with FEMA and CISA during emergencies. The CSCC pointed out that this collaboration has helped to strengthen the restoration and resilience of communications facilities and allowed these providers to more rapidly identify, prioritize, and, where appropriate, source requests for assistance and information.
