(August 4) In comments filed with the FCC, NTCA and a large group of state associations and coalitions requested clarification of which regulatory body has the ultimate authority to enforce 911 reliability rules for entities that will have a critical role in the completion of 911 calls. NTCA also asked the commission to make clear that no new costs for the NG911 transition can be imposed on its members.
