On March 27, 2020, NTCA submitted comments to the FCC concerning procedures for the upcoming RDOF auction. NTCA suggested the commission use census block groups as the minimum geographic area, employ reasonable measures to establish basic qualifications of bidders and capabilities of technologies prior to bidding, and conduct more upfront vetting of bidders considering how important performance capabilities are for the success of many communities right now.
