Proper planning is the foundation of being “ready” to retire. The NTCA Retirement Readiness Seminar provides an educational opportunity so you can learn the steps important in planning for the fullness of living well in retirement.

Registration has closed for this event.

 

There is no registration fee for this seminar, and all course materials and customized information is provided complimentary to registrants. Hotel, travel and most meal costs are the responsibility of the attendee. Spouses are also encouraged to attend.

Since materials are personalized for each attendee, registration is limited to 250 individuals and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Preparing for Retirement

NTCA Member Relations Manager
Both psychological and financial portfolios are part of retirement planning. We will explore how health, wellness, relationships, hobbies, where you will live and all that you pursue in retirement are necessary considerations in a healthy retirement plan. This session will also assist you in calculating your retirement savings needs and review tools to better understand your income streams in retirement. Attendees will leave this session with steps to create an action plan that identifies what you need to accomplish before retirement.

R&S Program Distribution Options

Jane Wigen, NTCA Member Relations and Benefits Education Manager
NTCA R&S Program and Savings Plan distribution options will be discussed in conjunction with a detailed review of customized retirement illustrations prepared for each attendee. We will wrap-up this session with a hands-on review of the process, timing and NTCA benefit election forms needed when a retirement decision is made.

Planning today will assist in avoiding distress and difficulty for your family and loved ones later. This session will help you understand the important elements of estate planning, wills, trusts, probate and asset protection. You will learn how to create a legacy plan and avoid common pitfalls that can occur without proper planning.

The road to retirement begins with a solid plan. Find out where you currently stand, analyze your situation and identify what steps you may need to work on now so you are living well in retirement.
