Copper Valley Telecom is currently seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee the daily activities of Accounting department employees and ensure accurate and timely submission of financial statements and required reports. The ideal applicant possesses a strong understanding of accounting fundamentals, is self-motivated, and has excellent written and verbal communication skills. To be successful in this position, you must have keen attention to detail and experience supervising others. If you are a problem solver with an analytical mind, this position may be a great fit for you! Prior telecom and/or regulatory experience are a plus, but not a requirement (though an eagerness and ability to learn is!).
This is a full time, salaried, exempt position, with a starting salary of $78,423 per year. Applicants may be considered for a higher salary, depending on experience and education. Employment requires satisfactory results of a background check and drug screen (excluding marijuana). This position is based in Valdez, AK.
