Director of Finance

Job Description

Farmers Mutual Telephone Cooperative (FMTC), a growing, fiscally strong telecommunications and designated Smart Rural Community provider located in Fruitland, ID, is seeking a hands-on Director of Finance. This top finance position will report directly to the General Manager and will oversee all financial and regulatory activities of FMTC, including but not limited to: operating and capital budgets, financial statements, regulatory and tax reporting, payroll, internal control/auditing functions, financial forecasts, acquisition analysis and investment planning.          

Successful candidate will be creative, analytical, have knowledge of all aspects of accounting and financial reporting, and be strategic in nature.  Experience in the regulatory aspects of the FCC and state regulatory proceedings is strongly preferred, but willing to train the right individual.   A Bachelors degree in Business, Accounting or Finance, and a minimum of five years in progressive management roles is essential. CPA preferred.
