More than 200 security, IT and network professionals gathered in Scottsdale, Arizona, last week to share insights and discuss the evolving cybersecurity landscape at the 2025 CyberShare Summit.
Hosted by CyberShare: The Small Broadband Provider ISAC, the conference offered attendees practical strategies and peer support designed specifically for small and rural broadband providers looking to stay ahead of cyberthreats.
Through engaging group discussions, attendees discovered new ways to apply AI, improve vulnerability management, review cybersecurity policies and strengthen overall cyber hygiene within their organizations. These small group sessions underscored the importance of information sharing and collaboration, key components in building a resilient broadband network.
Industry experts also explored concrete steps that ISPs and small businesses can take to reduce the likelihood of cyberattacks, particularly with the growing influence of AI. While this evolving technology continues to drive innovation, it also introduces new vulnerabilities. Through case studies and discussions, attendees learned how to mitigate AI-based threats and how to use the technology responsibly to strengthen company operations.
This year’s summit was a collaborative effort between CyberShare and its industry association partners, including ACA Connects, NRECA Broadband, NTCA–The Rural Broadband Association, the Rural Wireless Association and WISPA–Broadband Without Boundaries.
CyberShare would also like to thank the vendors who attended this year’s conference, as well as Calix, Endeavor IT, JSI and NISC for sponsoring the Top Golf outing.
Be sure to save the date for the 2026 CyberShare Summit, taking place October 25–27, in Columbus, Ohio.
