Member Moments: Norvado’s Esports Initiative Thrives and Expands

Two years ago, Norvado took its first step into the world of esports by supporting Phillips High School in Phillips, Wis., with the relaunch of its high school esports program. This partnership provided comprehensive support, including professional consulting, funding for a dedicated gaming stadium, equipment, uniforms, coaching and more.

Now in its third year, the Phillips High School esports team is seeing remarkable success, including a perfect 5-0 record so far this season from their Rocket League team. More excitingly, participation in the program is soaring, with the school expanding its efforts to include middle school teams. Go Loggers!

Beyond Phillips, Norvado is also backing the growth of Drummond High School's esports program. The team is in the process of establishing its infrastructure, including a dedicated gaming stadium and acquiring the necessary equipment. Drummond has also recently hired its first esports coach, marking a significant milestone for the program.

Looking ahead, Norvado is excited to continue fostering the growth of esports across high schools in northern Wisconsin.
