Rod Ballard is a principal in Jackson Thornton's Telecommunications Group and Healthcare Group. As a senior consultant with more than 20 years of experience, he specializes in consulting services such as financial forecasting, diversification studies, budgeting and strategic planning to telecommunications and healthcare clients throughout the Southeast. Rod is also a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). Based in the Nashville office, Ballard also travels across the country, teaching and conducting seminars on leadership, accounting and regulatory issues for Continuum Education + Training, a Jackson Thornton company. Ballard is involved in a number of professional organizations. He is a graduate of Troy University, which named him its "Young Accounting Alumnus of the Year" in 2004.
