Rural Call Completion, WC Docket 13-39

On Sunday, February 21, 2016, Jill Canfield, Vice President, Legal and Industry and Assistant General Counsel, on behalf of NTCA–The Rural Broadband Association (“NTCA”), John Nettles, President of Pine Belt Telephone and Wireless, and Robert Gnapp, Director of Network Training and Analysis for the National Exchange Carrier Association Inc. (“NECA”) met with Daniel Kahn, Acting Division Chief of the Federal Communications Commission’s Competition Policy Division, Wireline Competition Bureau.  The group met in Orlando, Florida at NTCA’s Rural Telecom Industry Meeting and EXPO to discuss the continuing problem that rural consumers face regarding calls that fail to complete.
