WC Docket No. 13-184, Modernizing the E-rate Program for Schools and Libraries
On Wednesday, March 8, 2017, Brian Ford, on behalf of NTCA–The Rural Broadband Association, along with Bob DeBroux and Kay Midthun (via telephone) with TDS Telecommunications met with Dr. Jay Schwarz, Wireline Advisor to Federal Communications Commission (“Commission”) Chairman Ajit Pai. The parties discussed the Universal Service Fund ("USF") Schools and Libraries (“E-rate”) mechanism, specifically the 2014 E-rate Modernization Order and the 2014 E-rate Second Report and Order adopted by the Commission.
