On Monday, April 17, 2017, Michael Romano, Senior Vice President-Industry Affairs & Business Development, on behalf of NTCA–The Rural Broadband Association (“NTCA”), spoke via telephone with Claude Aiken, legal advisor to Commissioner Mignon Clyburn, to discuss matters in the above-referenced proceeding. Specifically, the discusion concerned the need for prompt action with respect to the rate floor policy and the potential for other universal service fund reform measures consistent with prior NTCA advocacy.
