On Friday, May 29, 2015, Shirley Bloomfield, Chief Executive Officer of NTCA–The Rural Broadband Association (“NTCA”), together with Mike Romano, met with Commissioner Jessica Rosenworcel and her wireline legal advisor, Travis Litman, to discuss issues presented in the above-referenced proceedings. Specifically, the discussion focused on the efforts of NTCA and its rural stakeholder allies to engage actively with the Federal Communications Commission in updating existing cost recovery mechanisms to address consumer demand for broadband services.
