On Thursday, June 25, 2015, Mike Romano, Senior Vice President-Policy, on behalf of NTCA–The Rural Broadband Association (“NTCA”), held separate telephone conversations regarding issues presented in the above-referenced proceeding with: (1) Daniel Alvarez, legal advisor to Chairman Tom Wheeler; (2) Nicholas Degani, legal advisor to Commissioner Ajit Pai, and (3) Amy Bender, legal advisor to Commissioner Michael O’Rielly. Specifically, in each conversation, NTCA discussed proposals previously submitted by the association and other rural telecom stakeholders for updates to existing mechanisms to address consumer demand for broadband.
