On Wednesday, July 6, 2016, Shirley Bloomfield, CEO of NTCA – The Rural Broadband Association (“NTCA”), and Jill Canfield, V.P. Legal & Industry and Assistant General Counsel, met with Commissioner Michael O’Rielly and his advisor, Amy Bender, and separately with Matthew Berry, Chief of Staff for Commissioner Ajit Pai. NTCA discussed its petition seeking reconsideration of the residential build-out requirement imposed as part of the Federal Communications Commission’s approval of the above-referenced merger application.
