On October 8, 2015, ITTA, NTCA-The Broadband Association, Public Knowledge, COMPTEL, USTelecom and CenturyLink filed a letter addressed to the five FCC Commissioners urging the Commission to adopt the Order the Chairman circulated in August that would eliminate the Commission's exclusivity rules. The Group stated that the Commission’s network non-duplication and syndicated exclusivity rules are no longer necessary to enforce contractual exclusivity agreements between broadcasters and program suppliers.
