Rural Call Completion, WC Docket No. 13-39
On Wednesday, October 18, 2017, Jill Canfield, Vice President Legal & Industry, Assistant General Counsel, from NTCA–The Rural Broadband Association (“NTCA”), met with Jay Schwarz, Wireline Advisor to Chairman Pai of the Federal Communications Commission (the “Commission”) regarding the above referenced matter. During this conversation, NTCA discussed the serious continued problem of calls not completing to rural consumers and the sudden uptick in complaints over the last few weeks.
