(Apr 11) In a meeting with staff to Commission Simington, NTCA expressed concern regarding the impacts of the resurgent budget control mechanism on rural operators. NTCA requested the FCC waive the effectiveness of the budget control, pointing out that such relief would be consistent with the action taken by the Commission last year and a reason for granting a similar waiver for the current twelve-month support period.
