NTCA Reiterates the Need for a Robust RDOF Long-Form Application Review Process

(Jun 15)  In a letter filed June 15, 2021, NTCA stated that the FCC should identify the standards by which it will review RDOF long-form applications as it considers the distribution of billions of dollars of federal ratepayer resources to firms promising to deliver broadband.  This, and enabling third-party review of such applications, would promote transparency and would be consistent with the wishes expressed by 160 Members of Congress.  NTCA further stated that despite assertions to the contrary made by fixed wireless provider interests, such a process would not be legally or procedurally infirm, nor would it invite unreasonable delay.
