Protecting the Privacy of Customers of Broadband and Other Telecommunications Services, Report and Order, FCC 16-148 (rel. Nov. 2, 2016) (“Order”). A summary of the Order and rules adopted therein was published in the Federal Register on December 2, 2016. Protecting the Privacy of Customers of Broadband and Other Telecommunications Services, 81 Fed. Reg. 87,274 (Dec. 2, 2016) (amending 47 C.F.R. § 64.2001 et seq.)

The American Cable Association (ACA), the Competitive Carriers Association (CCA), CTIA, ITTA – The Voice of Mid-Sized Communications Companies (ITTA),  NCTA – The Internet & Television Association (NCTA), NTCA – The Rural Broadband Association, the United States Telecom Association (USTelecom), the Wireless Internet Service Providers Association (WISPA), and WTA – Advocates for Rural Broadband (together “Petitioners”), pursuant to Sections 1.41, 1.43, and 1.44(e) of the Commission’s rules, respectfully request that the Commission stay the rules adopted on October 27, 2016 in the above-captioned proceeding.
