NTCA–The Rural Broadband Association filed comments in response to the above referenced proceeding currently before the National Institute of Standards and Technology (“NIST” or “the Institute”) developed in response to an Executive Order. NTCA appreciates NIST’s commitment to improving the nation’s cybersecurity and observes that the initial Framework has proven to be a useful tool in better focusing discussion and analysis of the nation’s preparedness and resilience.
