(Mar 24) In comments filed with the FCC, NTCA urged the agency to reject a Liberty Mobile Petition seeking to port, to Puerto Rico and US Virgin Islands-based customers, telephone numbers from wireline rate centers in other parts of the United States. NTCA stated that grant of the petition would result in originating carriers bearing the financial burden of transporting calls to distant destinations and could result in misrouted calls.
