(Jan 9) In comments filed with the FTC, NTCA recommended that a clear and unambiguous exemption for firms already subject to industry-specific Federal regulatory oversight be included. NTCA also submitted that any FTC action include a specific carve-out for broadband internet access service providers and other firms whose billing and disclosure practices are regulated by their agency of jurisdiction.
