NTCA Files Comments on the Effectiveness of Call Blocking Tools

On January 29, 2020, NTCA filed comments on the availability and effectiveness of call blocking tools used to stop Unlawful Robocals and noted the FCC must account for the potential unintended negative implications of these tools on consumers if not calibrated carefully.  NTCA noted there is a serious risk of a "reverse call completion" problem emerging in rural America if steps are not taken to enable rural provider participation in the Shaken/Stir ecosystem.
