(Apr 14) In comments filed with the FCC, NTCA encouraged the agency to define “rural” to help ensure rural healthcare providers receive funding necessary to access broadband and other telecommunications services needed for telehealth and other services. Applying E-rate definition for “rural” will focus funding and will resolve eligibility and uncertainty for RHC program participants.
