(Aug 9) In reply comments filed in the FCC’s STIR/SHAKEN proceeding, NTCA highlighted that industry agrees that the agency’s proposal to identify small providers enabling robocalls and require them to adopt call authentication technology on an accelerated timeframe is overly-inclusive. The reply comments highlighted industry support for the NTCA proposal to capture the concerning parties in a more surgical and precise manner that avoids burdening innocent providers.
