(Aug 13) In a filing to the FCC, NTCA opposed a California Public Utilities Commission Petition seeking to make public network outage data filed by service providers. NTCA stated that the FCC has already addressed the issue and, that aside, the Petition fails to demonstrate that unfettered public access to the data will protect national security or further public safety.
