(June 15) In reply comments filed in the FCC’s mapping proceeding, NTCA reiterated that the Commission should clarify the scope of the professional engineering certification rule applicable to the new Broadband Data Collection. As an alternative, NTCA stated that the Commission could also make clear that a company employee can provide such certification if possessing qualifications and experience directly relevant to the assessment of broadband network design that, in turn, produces availability as claimed in BDC submissions.
