(Mar 14) NTCA reiterated that the FCC should deny the assignment of broadcast licenses in the Fargo DMA and the Duluth-Superior DMA to Forum Communications. In an earlier Petition to Deny, NTCA argued that its members will suffer injury in the form of increased retransmission consent fees should it be approved. NTCA once again noted that the parties requesting that the FCC waive its broadcast ownership rules to allow this merger had failed to meet their burden.
