(Sep 6) In reply comments filed with the FCC, NTCA responded to the draft Network Outage and Reporting System (NORS) and Disaster Information Reporting System (DIRS) training materials to be used by state agencies and others as a condition to being allowed to access and share information contained in NORS and DIRS. NTCA reiterated the importance of ensuring agencies adhere to the safeguards set forth in the FCC’s rules governing access to, and sharing of information contained in, NORS and DIRS.
