On July 13, 2020 NTCA submitted comments to the Wireline Competition Bureau on a Public Notice seeking comments on the exercise of permissive authority under the Communications Act of 1934 to require contributions to the USF based upon revenues derived from the provision of "one-way" voice over Internet Protocol ("VoIP") services.
