Arlington, Va. (August 22, 2014)—NTCA–The Rural Broadband Association is pleased to announce that its Group Health Program (GHP) is launching GHP Wellness Connections, a plan designed to make wellness easy for members that offer GHP medical coverage to employees.
Members participating in the NTCA GHP medical plan can adopt this new wellness plan effective January 2015. The plan will be available to employees and their spouses if they are enrolled in GHP medical coverage. GHP Wellness Connections includes incentives for wellness actions, coaching by trained specialists, a dedicated website with health trackers and online resources to help educate and motivate employees to make healthier choices.
“Living a healthy lifestyle is key to a full life, and we are excited for this opportunity to promote wellness not only for our employees but for our member companies, their employees and families,” said NTCA Chief Executive Officer Shirley Bloomfield. “Through the GHP Trust Committee, NTCA members have voiced their desire for a wellness plan. NTCA GHP is offered exclusively to NTCA members. GHP offers members affordable health care coverage options and flexibility to choose medical, dental, life, disability and accident coverages. GHP benefits are available for employees, retirees and board directors.
