Arlington, Va. (April 28, 2014) – NTCA–The Rural Broadband Association filed comments April 25 in response to the House Energy and Commerce Committee’s “#CommActUpdate White Paper 2: Modernizing U.S. Spectrum Policy.”
In its remarks, NTCA said unleashing the power of the wireless revolution in rural areas requires access to spectrum, the lifeblood of wireless services and a resource that is in short supply. The association said federal law must ensure small and regional wireless providers have the opportunity to secure the resources essential to serving consumers that may otherwise be ignored by larger carriers.
