Arlington, Va. (March 16, 2015)—NTCA–The Rural Broadband Association today issued the following statement from Chief Executive Officer Shirley Bloomfield regarding Brandon McBride’s appointment as administrator of the Rural Utilities Service:

He has been a champion of the industry in the Senate, and our nearly 900 community-based telecom providers are looking forward to partnering with him to secure a bright broadband future for all of rural America,” said Bloomfield. “NTCA also thanks Acting Administrator Jasper Schneider for his work over the past several months.
