2015 NTCA Board Officers Elected at Rural Telecom Industry Meeting & EXPO

Arlington, Va. (March 9, 2015)— James M. Dauby, president/chief executive officer (CEO) of PSC (St. Meinrad, Ind.), was elected president of NTCA–The Rural Broadband Association at the Rural Telecom Industry Meeting & EXPO in Phoenix, Ariz.

Dauby has served on NTCA’s board for the last six years and is a past board member of the Foundation for Rural Service. He serves on the board of the Indiana Telecommunications Association and is a board member for the Indiana Exchange Carrier Association, having previously served as its president. He is also on the Board of Directors of the Indiana Fiber Network.

“I am honored to serve as president of NTCA during such an important time for our association,” said Dauby. “I look forward to working with my fellow board members and NTCA staff as we continue to position our rural telecom members as proven solutions providers for the communities where we live and work.”

The NTCA board also elected Douglas A. Boone, CEO of Premier Communications
(Sioux Center, Iowa), as vice president and William P. Hegmann, general manager of Southwest Arkansas Telephone Cooperative, Inc. (Texarkana, Ark.), as secretary/treasurer. Don Richards of Richards, Elder & Green, LLP (Lubbock, Texas) was re-elected general counsel.

(Bloomingdale, Mich., Northeast Region Commercial); Allen R. Hoopes, chairman/CEO of Silver Star Communications (Freedom, Wyo., Northwest Region Commercial); Mitchell A. Moore, president and general manager of Clear Creek Communications (Oregon City, Ore., Northwest Region Cooperative); H. Keith Oliver, senior vice president of corporate operations for Home Telephone Co. (Moncks Corner, S.C., Southeast Region Commercial); J. Frederick Johnson, executive vice president and general manager of Farmers Telecommunications Cooperative (Rainsville, Ala., Southeast Region Cooperative); and Janet Britton, general counsel for EATEL (Gonzales, La., Southwest Region Commercial).
