(July 12, 2016)—NTCA–The Rural Broadband Association issued the following statement from Chief Executive Officer Shirley Bloomfield in response to the launch of the bipartisan Senate Broadband Caucus by Sens. Shelley Moore Capito (R–W.Va.), Angus King (I–Maine), Amy Klobuchar (D–Minn.), Heidi Heitkamp (D–N.D.), and John Boozman (R–Ark.).

Capito, King, Klobuchar, Heitkamp and Boozman for organizing a caucus related to an important issue on which they have already shown tremendous leadership. Robust, reliable and affordable broadband becomes more essential to the quality of life in rural America each day.
