PRESS INVITATION: Federal Regulators, Lawmakers to Speak at NTCA Legislative & Policy Conference

Arlington, Va. (April 13, 2016)—More than 500 members of NTCA–The Rural Broadband Association will gather in Washington, D.C., next week to participate in the association’s Legislative & Policy Conference, during which several federal lawmakers and industry leaders will address conference participants. 

Angela Simpson, deputy assistant secretary of the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA), and Lisa Mensah, U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Undersecretary for Rural Development, will speak at the event. Additionally, NTCA Chief Executive Officer Shirley Bloomfield will lead an FCC policy conversation with Matt DelNero, chief of the Wireline Competition Bureau. The conference will also feature speeches from Rep. Robert Aderholt (R-Ala.) and Sen. John Boozman (R-Ark.). 

The event will be held at the Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill, 400 New Jersey Ave., NW, and members of the press are invited to attend. The full event agenda is available online.
